What did I tell ya'll last Saturday? That the forecast was 62 for a high with light wind. It turned out to be 27, and the wind blowing between 5 to 15 mph. Despite all this we still had 16 shooters who shot 30 targets. There is only one way to put it-we are crazy, there is no other way of putting it, but we did have fun. Here are the results:

Did you notice that only one point seperated first and second in the aggrate score. They shot 3 different classes. We missed one of our regulars who was a little injured and under the weather, Doyle take care and we'll see ya next month. Mike Hutchins and Rhiannon won the gift certificates and Jay, Mitch and Charlie Free won the door prizes. I hope that next month the weather is a little more pleasant. Till then, keep it in the 10.

Had a great turn out for the match today. It was a beautiful day. Notice several scores over 230.
Had four new shooters that have never shot our match before.
One of the shooters is Bob Landreth. Bob is a retired Police Officer (CHP). Bob and I shot PPC for years all over Canada and The US. He is living about 2 hours north of us in Aberdeen, Washington. He came down to shoot our match, because he wants to start shooting up at the range in Aberdeen. I gave him some targets and rules and he was going to talk to the club members and see if they are interested. Will keep you informed.

Well I am back from vacation, with a tan. We really had a great turn out today. The sun was shinning, no wind, and it was not cold. Had our highest score yet with a 238. This is really catching on. I really believe that this summer we could have 20 to 25 shooters every week. We are already talking about making a trip down to Eugene to shoot with those guys.

As you can see we had some good shooting, we had 3 new shooters: Kenneth Jeffreys who used to shoot the matches before Amanda & I started running them. He brought his nephew Parker Ford, who took home one of our trophies and Charlie Free who also won a class and the money can. Charles Bailey took all of the rest of the money cans. Door prizes were won by Ryan, Rusty, Richard and Emily. Charles Bailey and Hunter McGuire won the $20.00 gift certificates to Bill's. This was a great way to start of the new season. Next match is March 8, remember keep it in the 10.

We had about a foot of snow on the ground. Had to wait for the fog to clear to shoot. Then once the fog lifted it rain and snow so hard we could hardly see the targets. But everyone really shot well considering the weather. Bud shot a 233 which is the highest score anyone has shot on our range. Picked up a new shooter. Everything is going well. Our shooters are really looking forward to Thursday’s so they can shoot the match.
