USBR Record Scores

[USBR Rule Book, Rev. 7.0 - (Section: 1. General, J. Scoring, 3. Record Scores) "USBR will maintain a listing of record scores and aggregates. When a USBR record score is fired at any range, it is the responsibility of the Match Director to be sure the gun is weighed. When a record score is tied, including X-count, both shooters will share the record. Targets which are deemed to be candidates for USBR record status must be examined by the Match Director and referees. Names of these officers must be included with the match report".

A statement referencing the candidate target must be added to the Match Report/Bulletin and must include the name of the shooter, description of the firearm and equipment used, plus the distance to the target. A copy of this report must be submitted to the USBR President (by e-mail or USPS letter) who will verify the record status and then report the new record to the WebMaster for posting.
