USBR Objective Statement: To provide a Benchrest score-shooting format to be enjoyed by the widest possible spectrum of competitors. Range and equipment requirements are held to a minimum. Opportunities to compete will be provided for everyone from the novice to the expert.
USBR is an internet based organization, and as such, the vast majority of all business will be handled via e-mail and web-based exchange of information.

2014 USBR NATIONALS
50 YARD-3 GUN
2014 USBR Nationals will be held at the Angelina Rifle & Pistol club in Lufkin, Texas on October 11th and 12th .
This year’s shoot will consist of three cards for each gun (unlimited, custom and Sporter), total of nine cards. The aggregate of all three cards will determine the winners of each class. The total Aggregate of all nine cards will determine the National Champion..
Course of Fire:
Unlimited Gun: Saturday, October 11th @ 9:00 A.M.
Custom Gun: Saturday, October 11th, 30 minutes after the completion of the unlimited class.
Lunch will be served at the end of the custom class and awards will be given for both classes.
Sporter gun: Sunday, October 12th @ 9:00 A.M.
After the completion of the Sporter Class, we will hold the Regular Club Match consisting of one card per gun.
At the end of the Match, awards will be given for the Sporter Class, the National Champion, and also for the Yearly Club League.
Benches will be drawn by each competitor for each class, but will shoot all three cards from the same bench. Competitors will retrieve and replace their own targets. Competitors will score their own targets, post the scores and turn in the scored targets in the provided container. Targets must be scored and turned in before the next card is shot. The top three score targets on each relay will be checked by one of the match officials and the competitor will be informed if any score change is required.
Awards Will consist of Plaques or Trophies for first, second and third for each class and first, second and third for the aggregate of all three guns. Several Door prizes will be drawn during the match.
All bolts are to be removed from the rifles “All the Time” whether the rifle is on the bench or in the racks. The bolts will stay removed until the line is call hot and the order is given by the range officer to insert bolt and commence fire. At the cease fire command all bolts are to be removed until the next command is given. Semi Auto Rifle actions are to remain open and an empty chamber indicator inserted.
Range will be open at Noon on Friday, October 10th for practice and the late entry. It will also be opened for practice Saturday and Sunday A.M. till 8:30 A.M.
Camping and R.V. Hook ups are available about 400 yards from the firing line. Separate full facility rest rooms are also available just past the club house. Firing line is covered and shade trees are behind the line.

DIRECTIONS: The AR&PC range may be reached in two ways:
Take Texas Highway 7 west out of Nacogdoches until you cross the Angelina River. After crossing the Angelina River turn south or left onto Rifle Road (County Road 72). When you reach the paved segment of County Road 72 coming from the south you are 400 yards too far. Entrance to the range is on the left side of the road.
Take U.S. Highway 69 west out of Lufkin to the Central Fire Station. Turn right on Rifle Road (County 72). Continue on County Road 72 past County Road 73 and 73A. County Road 72 turns to dirt. County Road 73A is paved. Four hundred yards past Country 73A is the entrance to the range. The range is on the right side of Country Road 72.
